Pre-tournament interview with Becky Brewerton ahead of the Evian Masters

Describe your feelings returning to Evian.

Mixed feelings. I felt pretty hard done by to miss it for the first time ever last year so I guess I want to show the organisation that LET players can win the event and deserve to be there

Why is the Evian Masters special?

The town itself is spectacular and the views on the course are amazing.

How important is the Evian Masters to the European Tour players?

It’s hard to say as so few get in every year!

Will you play in the annual charity football match?

I’d love to play but probably won’t through fear of injury.

What are you most looking forward to about the event?

Having the chance to play once again on a course I felt I could have won on in 2009. I  think it suits my game and would love to win it for the LET.

How will you be preparing?

As usual making sure all parts of game are sharp, especially putting.

What are you working on in particular?

I’m actually working on my low shots for the British Open right now!

How do you assess your season so far?

My form has been consistent and I feel now is the time to push on.

What are your hopes and expectations for the tournament?

I believe I have the game to win and I hope to raise awareness of the high standard of golf on the LET and the lack of our players in the event.
