Some of Slovakia’s most popular celebrities teed up alongside golfers from the Ladies European Tour during the Allianz Ladies Slovak Open Pro Am at Gray Bear Golf Club on Thursday ahead of the tournament.

Zuzana Kamasova was joined in her four-ball by Miroslav Šatan, a Slovak professional ice hockey right winger for HC Slovan Bratislava of the Slovak Extraliga.

The 6’3” tall left hander was a player in the NHL and captained the Slovak ice hockey team that won the silver medal at the 2012 ice hockey world championships, where the team lost against Russia in the finals.

Kamasova and Šatan were also joined by Filip Tuma, a popular opera singer and television actor.

Speaking about his relationship with golf, Šatan said (via translation): “I like to play golf to relax but have not had much time to do it until now. I am playing for the first time in a long while. I have played with Zuzana a few times before and am always happy to play with her because if I hit a bad shot she will always help me to correct it!”

Peter Sklár, a comedian and actor in the popular Slovak TV series ‘Mafstory’ played in a group including Marianne Skarpnord, while there were also a number of television presenters in the field.
