Solheim Cup Scoops PR Award

Following on from the successful staging of The 2011 Solheim Cup in Killeen Castle in Meath last September, the PR campaign for the event won the ‘Best Consumer Campaign’ accolade at the 2012 Awards for Excellence in Public Relations at the Conrad Hotel, Dublin.

Following on from the successful staging of The 2011 Solheim Cup in Killeen Castle in Meath last September, the PR campaign for the event won the ‘Best Consumer Campaign’ accolade at the 2012 Awards for Excellence in Public Relations at the Conrad Hotel, Dublin on Friday. Kevin Moore from Fleishman-Hillard International Communications (pictured second from right) and Solheim Cup Director, Roddy Carr (pictured second from left) were presented with the award by Brian Hayes TD, Minister of State and Laurie Mannix, Chair of the PRCA. The event saw over 80,000 people attend Killeen Castle throughout the week to witness the Europe ladies team claim a dramatic victory over the United States.
