I wrote my first story in March where I talked about Lalla Meryem Cup in Morocco, my first tournament on LET. After 4 months I have played 6 tournaments so I could say that I'm getting experience on tour and I like it so much. Right now I'm in my "week off" after 4 weeks in a row on tour. I didn't get in to Germany and the day before tournament I became first reserve but I didn't travel because it would have been very precipitate and then I would have 4 weeks "non-stop". So I started playing in Netherlands and I didn't play well, I had low self-confidence and I missed the cut, but I stayed there until Sunday. I went back to Barcelona on Sunday evening for few hours, I changed my clothes and stuff and on Monday morning I flew to Vienna to go to Slovakia by bus. A lot of players were travelling together, so it was funny. I really liked the golf course in Slovakia, it was on a ski station and the course had some "funny" and tricky greens but it was so nice. I played well there, I made the cut but I played bad on 3rd round. Most of evenings we had dinner on the golf restaurant with other players while some dj's were playing good music and it was very funny. I was happy with my game because I recovered the self-confidence of the previous week. From there, on Monday most of players picked a bus up to Vienna to take the plane to Milano, and from there we took another bus to Losone. (Thank you to the bus drivers for this month!) Within a few hours I had been on 4 different countries (Slovakia, Austria, Italy and Switzerland). Amazing! In Losone, I loved the course and the area, the Lake Maggiore, little towns... all very nice and quiet. I've already been in Switzerland when I was younger but it was for holidays with the family and I had good memories...There, I didn't play bad but on the last holes I had some little mistakes and I didn't make the low cut, that it was on Level. Then, from there I went to Milano (by bus again) to fly to Prague on Monday morning.
Truly it was very weird going from a tournament to another one, but a lot of players were travelling together and it wasn't boring. We played another good golf course in Prague, the best one I've played this month in my opinion. I loved it. It was in very good shape and it was very nice. I played well, I made the cut with + 2 but with the feeling of being able to shot under par, but you know how golf is. During last round I didn't hole birdie putts and I didn't go up many positions on the leader board. But the balance is positive. In those 4 weeks I have learned a lot about my game, and I think is very important that you draw conclusions of tournaments for being better at next ones.
On 8th July I'm going to Durban, South Africa for the LET event. The trip is very long but I've never been there and I can't wait to go. In my next story I'm going to tell you the experience.
I send you a big hug from Barcelona!
