We asked Ireland’s leading woman professional golfer Rebecca Codd to share her favourite Olympic memories, plus what she is looking forward to most at London 2012.

What is/are your favourite/s Olympic Sport? Track, Swimming, Boxing

Who is your favourite Olympic athlete? Katy Taylor because she is Ireland's greatest chance for gold.

What sport or event do you like to watch during the Olympics? 100m Final

Have you got any plans to go to watch any event regarding London 2012? No

Which country do you think will win more medals during London 2012? What about Great Britain? USA. I think Great Britain will be right up there as it is being held at home and they have a lot of great sports people and athletes.

Which Olympic Games you liked the most and why? 2008 watching Bolt break all those records.

Do you practice currently or have you ever practiced any other Olympic Sport, apart from golf? I trained in Taekwondo but not in a competitive way.

Your favourite moment at any Olympics Games: which moment or moments have you liked the most and why? Watching Cathy Freeman win in Sydney, was great for the indigenous people of Australia.

Have you met any other Olympic medal Sportsmen/women apart from Vera Shimanskaya? Who and when? No, unfortunately not.

If you were not a golf professional, what other Olympic Sport would you have liked to practice? Basketball.

If you had not dedicated your career to golf, in which other Olympic Sport you think you would have succeeded? None!

How do you think golf will change from 2016 after being a new Olympic Sport? I don’t think the game will change but it might create more interest in the game.
