During April, we invited the LET members to share their sporting experiences. English rookie Emily Taylor of Lancashire.

Do or did you practice any other sport apart from golf? Netball, at high school.

What was your level? High school team.

What do you know about the following sports?

Soccer – UK football, 11 a side, try and score against the other team. Offside rule, usual format 4-4-2

Athletics – Olympics, track and field events such as 100m, 200m ect. Also javelin, long jump high jump.

Tennis – 1 vs 1, score goes, 15,30,40, ad. Women 2 sets men 3 sets

Compare golf with other sports you like. Which one do you think is the toughest? Golf: its such a small margin of error, a lot of skill and visualisation is involved.

Who is your favourite sportwoman outside golf? Jessica Ennis, she's motivated, an all rounder, at the top level at all the events. The ultimate athlete.

Tell us names of top sportswomen you admire... Jessica Ennis – Olympic champion. Annika sorenstam – world number 1, shot 59. Paula Radcliff – Olympic marathon champion.

Have you met any of them? No – I would love to meet Jessica Ennis – she is a great ambassador for women's sport.

Is there any sport that you would like to practice professionally if you weren’t dedicated to golf? I would like to play tennis at a high level.

Do you think that women’s sport deserves more recognition? I don’t think women get enough recognition in sport. It is much harder for women to train their bodies than it is for men. I don’t think it gets publicised enough so the people don’t know that certain events are happening.
