"Arriving in Agadir, Morocco, after a whole day of travelling, everything was going well. Our few pieces of luggage arrived, and as soon as my friend and caddy Emily and myself contacted the organizers of the shuttle we were on the way to the Atlantic Palace Resort.

After a relaxing sleep, we headed to the golf course where everything was set up for our tournament as well as for the tournament of the European Tour that was happening right next to our course. It felt quite amazing to know that all this was organized for us players. The signs and flags of all the different nations…. It is just a great feeling, being part of this big family.

Being a rookie means learning how to manage yourself, as well as finding the right path into this family. Meaning, we got introduced to the main LET team that will be on site for nearly every tournament. We got to learn more about our job as being not just golfers, but entertainers.

And last but not least, we had a rules crash course with Rachel and Michael who shared their passionate rulings with us, also by giving us questions and letting us ask about doubts we had in the life of ruling. Of course followed by a rules test, which we hopefully all passed with 100%.

After all, the tournament was very well organized, and probably reminded every rookie of the Q-School we played in Marrakech in December 2012. Everything was planned and executed very well; from the shuttles to the scoring and prize giving.

Unfortunately, I did not make it to the weekend, but I used the free day to enjoy the sun and warm temperature at the hotel pool. I really enjoyed the week in Morocco, and I am looking forward to my rookie year on the LET to experience some many more nice events!!
