You have played at Mission Hills Haikou before. How excited are you to be going back?
Yes I have played twice before and I love the place!! Great facilities, great atmosphere, beautiful hotel, so I can't wait to go back!! The fans always come out and support it, it's going to be great!!
How excited are you to be returning to China?
Very excited- I love china and it's always fun to get a little shopping in!
What are your impressions of Mission Hills Resort Haikou?
This is a great venue for a golf tournament- it has great practice facilities, the hotel has a nice gym, a lot of places to relax outside of golf with the hot baths.. And some really nice restaurants!
How does this compare with the other venues on tour?
This is a world class event and it's up there with one of the best events I've played!
What do you think of the Chinese food?
Ummm how to put this nicely! I always find I end up eating at a western restaurant but I don't mind trying new things occasionally!
What do you think of the unique 3-in-1 pro, team and amateur format?
I think it’s a great concept.. It's new and different a will create a lot more interest from outsiders!
What are your personal goals for the tournament?
I'd like to play some good golf and out myself up there on the weekend with a chance late in Sunday! And of course for team Australia (Floody and I) to be up the top!!
Do you feel your game is good enough to win?
I'd like to think if things come together I can contend.
How do you feel about your start to the season?
It's been mixed results but I haven't had the consistency for 4 rounds that I'd like- only had patches of good golf which isn't going to put you up there on the weekend.
What are your general goals for this year?
I want to obtain my LPGA card whether that would b from Q school or from Symetra Tour or by getting a couple of starts this year.
How have you been preparing for the WLC at Mission Hills and how are you approaching the new season?
I've had a busy start by playing 6 weeks straight so I've taken a couple days off and just working hard on my short game and putting for the upcoming season with my coach.
Do you have any new hobbies or have you done anything particularly interesting or noteworthy over the off-season or last few weeks?
I went skydiving in Torquay which was amazing!!
Is there anything new in your set-up this year, i.e. new clubs, coach, fitness regime, charity work, sponsor etc?
I've put the new Callaway Apex irons in my bag!!
