Activities during the Deloitte Ladies Open

The Netherlands Golf Federation is celebrating its centenary this year and every member of the federation can attend the Deloitte Ladies Open for free by showing their handicap card. Golfers have been asked to share their golf wishes in advance of the tournament and organisers will try to make the wishes come true, for example, meeting a referee or watching a green keeper working.

The Netherlands Golf Federation and the PGA Holland have organised free golf lessons during the Deloitte Ladies Open. Visitors will have the opportunity to improve their swing and learn chipping skills during a 10 minute lesson with a Q&A session. Before the lessons each participant will get a small book on the Dutch teaching method called the ‘9-Stappenplan’. This explains in 9 steps what a player should know and do from the beginning of golf to become a scratch player. Every visitor will get a small book which matches with their playing level. The 9-Stappenplan will be explained to visitors combined with a ‘Sportive Ambition project.’

Kids and Girlz Golf

There will also be a golf themed play-area for kids combined wilt the Golf Academie and Girlz Golf activities together with the sponsor Deloitte.
