There were some recognisable faces from the world of professional ice hockey in the pre-tournament Pro-Am at the Allianz Ladies Slovak Open presented by RESPECT on Wednesday.

Czech goaltender Dominik Hašek and Slovak defenceman Richard Lintner played at Golf Resort Tále the day before the tournament began for the fifth straight year at the stunning golf course in the Low Tatras Mountains.

Dominik Hašek played for the Chicago Blackhawks, Buffalo Sabres, Detroit Red Wings and the Ottawa Senators before his retirement. During the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan, he led the Czech national ice hockey team to its first and only Olympic gold medal. In 2002, he won the Stanley Cup, the annual championship trophy.

Richard Lintner plays for HC Dinamo Minsk of the Kontinental Hockey League and was on the winning Slovak World Cup team in 2002.
