Renowned Danish shoemaker ECCO has agreed an extension to its seven-year sponsorship of the Ladies European Tour (LET).
As part of the agreement, ECCO is offering a footwear contract to the top ten players from LET Qualifying School, as well as three pairs of golf shoes to each of the top 30 qualifiers.
ECCO is also offering complimentary golf shoes to every member of the LET in exemption category 1-8, provided they agree to wear them exclusively during tournaments.
The LET staff will continue wearing ECCO golf shoes during all on-course activities and formal shoes at company events.
Alexandra Armas, executive director of the LET, was delighted with the announcement: “We are thrilled to continue our relationship with ECCO, a market leader in the design of comfortable, quality, luxury golf shoes. For the last seven years, ECCO has been an active partner of the LET and we appreciate the company’s continued support.”
