Scotland’s Vikki Laing

Scotland’s Vikki Laing has taken the clubhouse lead in the second round of the Lalla Meryem Cup in Mohammedia, Morocco.

The 29-year-old from Edinburgh finished on a five-under total after rounds of 68 and 71 at Royal Golf Anfa Mohammedia.

She is being chased by Sweden’s Carin Koch, who is at five-under after two birdies in her first three holes today.

The first round leader Maria Verchenova shot 73 and finished at four-under along with England’s Florentyna Parker, who had a round of 69.

Spain’s Paula Marti and England’s Melissa Reid started the second round at four-under and are playing in the same group in calm and humid conditions this afternoon.
