Exercise of the Month  
     
3/11/2008 - Step ups
 
This exercise targets the muscles in your buttocks (the gluteal muscles) as well as the muscles in the front of your thighs (quadriceps). These muscle groups are important for generating power during the swing as well as helping maintain a stable base for the trunk movement that occurs during the swing.
 
 
 
This exercise targets your core muscles, including the muscles in your buttocks (the gluteal muscles) as well as the muscles in the back of your thighs (hamstrings). The core muscles are important for maintaining control during the swing and the gluteals and hamstring muscles play important roles in generating power during the swing.
 
 
1/09/2008 - Roll outs
 
This exercise targets your abdominal muscles. The abdominal muscles form part of your ‘core’ muscles which are important for maintaining control during the swing. The abdominal muscles also play an important role in producing and controlling trunk and pelvis rotation during the swing.
 
 
27/07/2008 - Lunges
 
This exercise targets the muscles of your legs and buttock region. It will also help improve your balance which is really important for maintaining good control during your swing.
 
 
 
This exercise targets the muscles of your chest, arms, lower back, and buttock region.
 
 
10/05/2008 - Bird Dog
 
"Bird Dog" can help to strengthen abdominals and back.
 
 
25/04/2008 - The Plank
 
This exercise is usually performed as a warm-up or cool-down and works the stomach, hamstrings and buttocks.
