 Rosemary Rhodes qualified as a physiotherapist in Liverpool, UK in 1987. After this she worked in the National Health Service and in private practice in Birmingham specialising in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries with an interest in postural imbalances and core stability particularly in marathon runners. This interest led to her undertaking and completing a MSc in Neuromusculoskeletal Healthcare.
After moving to Dubai, and taking up golf in 2000, an increased understanding of the game and the swing, led to her increasingly treating golfing injuries and applying the knowledge of postural imbalances and core stability to improving the fitness and preventing injuries in all levels of golfer.
Rosemary now works at Emirates Golf Club in Dubai where her practice specialises in endurance athletes and golfers. She had provided the physiotherapy service for the Ladies European Tour during the Dubai Ladies Masters for the past two years. Her interests lie in improving the postural strength of golfers to avoid injury and improve performance. Rosemary now has established professional relationships with several golf coaches in Dubai and works with all levels of golfer from club golfer and elite amateur to Challenge, Asian and European professionals, who base themselves in Dubai.
