 While Sue Fitch was completing her training as a physiotherapist she was inspired by her mentors to look beyond techniques. She completed a Graduate Diploma in Movement and Dance and while working as a physiotherapist in a community health context, completed the first Feldenkrais professional in Australia from 1986 to 1990. The Feldenkrais method provided her with the tools to continue to explore how to better assist people to increase the congruency between their intentions and actions. She continues to work in private practice and in the community with populations ranging from workers with chronic pain and children with disabilities to professional and paralympic athletes. |
