Pernilla Lindberg on her favourite Olympic Games
Pernilla was a keen skiier growing up

What is/are your favourite/s Olympic Sport?

I always think it’s fun to watch track & field. However, the skiing in the winter Olympics is my big favourite.

Who are your favourite Olympic athletes?

Growing up I idolised Michael Johnson because of his characteristic running style. I also got his autograph during a big track & field event in Stockholm when I was about 10 years old and liked him even ore after that.

Have you got any plans to go to watch any event regarding London 2012?

No, not this time. I'll be busy playing in tournaments. However, I'll be following as good as I can on TV.

Which country do you think will win more medals during London 2012? What about Great Britain?

I'm guessing either China or the US will win the most medals but hopefully Great Britain will have a good Olympics on home soil and be able to be somewhere near the top.

Which Olympic Games you liked the most and why?

It's hard for me to rank them but the opening ceremony in Beijing was impressive but I rank Sydney high because it was a successful Olympics for the Swedish team.

Do you practice currently or have you ever practiced any other Olympic Sport, apart from Golf? I was competing in downhill skiing from when I was very little until the age of 16. I still ski for fun when I'm at home over New Years but I use to ski over 100 days a year growing up and now it might be 4 or 5 each year.

Your favourite moment at any Olympics Games: which moment or moments have you liked the most and why?

Every Swedish gold medal is always special.

Have you met any other Olympic medalSportmen/women apart from Vera Shimanskaya? Who and when?

I've briefly run in to a few. The biggest moment for me was to get the autograph from Pernilla Wiberg, she was my role model growing up. She was a great alpine skier and had the same first name as me :-)

If you were not a golf professional, what other Olympic Sport would you have liked to practice?

Like I said, I grew up competing in alpine skiing and of course it would have been fun to continue with that. However, even though I've never really played tennis, I've always thought it looks like something I would enjoy.

If you had not dedicate your career to golf. In which other Olympic Sport you think you would have succeeded?

Alpine skiing for sure. I choose golf in front of skiing and it could have been fun to see how far I've gone with my skiing too.

How do you think golf will change from 2016 after being a new Olympic Sport?

I think we will see a lot of countries that hasn't been producing good golfers before will start       putting more money in to golf and pushing their own federations to produce good players. Because of it becoming a Olympic sport I believe the game will become even more global.
