Connie: Where were you born and where is it exactly in the country? I was born in Pretoria, South Africa.
Tell us more about where you were born... The Union Building is in Pretoria.
What is the best thing about your country? The friendly and chilled atmosphere and the Biltong!
What's your favourite place in your country and why? Capetown because my brother lives there and Capetown is beautiful.

Describe some typical food and drinks from your area: Steak and Boerewors Rolls.
If you like cooking, what typical food from your country do you like to cook? I love steaks and I can cook a steak to perfection :)
Be our travel guide... what places would you recommend us to visit in your country and things to do? Mainly Capetown because there is so much to see and experience there, the vibe the views are breath taking! Durban is also very nice. George because the Famous Fancourt The Links Golf Course is there. North West because people would go to Sun City its a huge resort with 2 golf courses, The Gary Player(They play the Nedbank Million Dollars Challenge there every year) and the Lost City(which has a pit on a par 3 full of crocodiles) and The Kruger National Park.
Which is the most popular sport in your country? Give us an example of how popular it is. What about golf and women’s golf? Rugby or Cricket. Golf is also becoming a very popular sport and Womens Golf is slowly growing.
What are your favourite sports and teams that you support? I support the Blue Bulls because they are my province team, The Gauteng North.
What about surfing in South Africa? Do you surf, did you surf at school and how good are you? I live inland so surfing was not at school but I did surf in Cape town with my brother at Muizenburg it was a fun and exciting experience.

Who is your favourite golf player from your country? And sportsmen/women? I like Charl Schwartzel his a great golfer and he has an amazing swing.
What do you miss from home when you come to Europe to play? My family and the dog Birdie
SA has 11 official languages. Which one do you speak normally? What are your favourite South African sayings? English is one of the main languages but I can speak Afrikaans: "Lekker soos 'n cracker" and "What a chop!"
