Nominations are open for the 2013 Sunday Times and Sky Sports Sportswomen of the Year Awards – and you have an opportunity to nominate the successful European Solheim Cup Team as Team of the Year.
The 2013 European Solheim Cup Team made history in August by achieving an historic first away win by a record 18-10 margin.
After the most memorable three days at Colorado Golf Club, Neumann, who made history when she became the first Swede to win a major at the 1988 US Women’s Open, summed up her emotions.
“It’s an amazing feeling,” she said. “Everybody contributed and the whole team put in a huge effort. I was proud of the youngsters and my Captain’s picks. Everybody played extremely well.”

The ultimate accolade for your favourite sportswoman of 2013
2. Young Sportswoman of the Year
Nominees must be 21 or younger
3. Team of the Year
