Smith battles wind best to win Pegasus NZ Women´s Open

Western Australian Kristie Smith scored her maiden win in only her second year on the Ladies European Tour with a three-shot victory in the Pegasus New Zealand Women’s Open at the Pegasus course north of Christchurch...... more .....

The Ladies European Tour would like to express its deepest sympathies to the people affected by the tragic earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand. Thankfully none of the players or officials involved in the Pegasus New Zealand Women’s Open was affected. The tournament concluded 24 hours before the earthquake and most players left on Monday morning before the earthquake struck in the early afternoon.
