2011 Highlights

In 2011, Emma played in 13 tournaments with season-best ties for 21^st place at the DeutscheBank Ladies Swiss Open and Open de Espana Femenino.

2010 Highlights

• In 2010, posted a season-best tie for 9^th at the UniCredit Ladies German Open presented by Audi.
• Represented Spain at the Comunitat Valenciana European Nations Cup with Tania Elosegui and tied for 8^th.
• Finished 76^th on the Henderson Money List with season’s earnings of €25,879.94 from 18 events.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

• In 2009, posted four top 10 finishes including a career best tie for 2nd place at the Open de Espana Femenino at Panoramica G&CC. Tied for 3rd at the Madrid Ladies Masters. Other top ten finishes were a tie for 6th at the HypoVereinsbank Ladies German Open and a tie for 9th at the Tenerife Ladies Open. Played her best golf in Spain!

AMATEUR

Cabrera-Bello was a member of the European PING Junior Solheim Cup Team in 2002 and 2003; a member of the Junior Ryder Cup team in 2002, and also competed in the Vagliano Trophy in 2003, 2005 and 2007. The many titles that she won during a glittering amateur career include: the 2001 French International Junior Championship, the 2001 European Young Masters, the 2005 Finnish Masters and the 2007 Biarritz Cup; the U/16, U/18 and U/21 Spanish National Championship, the Ladies European Amateur Team Championships, the U/21 European Amateur championship in 2002; the U/18 European Amateur in 2003 and the Ladies’ European championships, in 2005 and 2007. Cabrera-Bello was an AJGA All-American in 2003 and 2004. She played in the following five LET events as an amateur: the 2002 Compaq Open in Sweden, the 2002 Spanish Open (where she was the best amateur and finished tied 11th), the 2003 Tenerife Ladies Open, the 2004 Tenerife Ladies Open (where she finished joint 16th) and the 2005 Spanish Open (where she finished T27th). She finished 7th at Final Qualifying School for the 2008 season, qualifying for her full LET card at the first attempt.

PERSONAL

172cm tall with blonde hair and brown eyes... Emma started to play golf at the age of 5 and is attached to Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas. She enjoys reading, skiing, waterskiing, sight-seeing and getting to know the places that she visits. Her brother Rafael is a professional golfer on the European Tour. Emma holds a degree in Business management and administration from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. She is studying for a Master of Science (MSc.) in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from September 2011-September 2012 at the University of ESADE in Barcelona (ranked in the top 15 worldwide). She says it’s a great learning experience, complementing her golf career.
