Biography Davies, Tara (WAL)

PROFESSIONAL

In 2012, Tara played in 4 tournaments and her best result was at the Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open presented by EventScotland finishing tied for 24th place. She ended the season ranked 159th on the ISPS Handa Order of Merit.
In 2011, her rookie year on tour, Tara played in 13 tournaments and earned two top 10 finishes: a tie for 5^th at the Deloitte Dutch Ladies Open and a tie for 7^th at the Lalla Meryem Cup, where she shot a career best 66 in the last round at Golf du Soleil in Agadir. She finished 79^th on the Money List with earnings of 25,415.00 euros and comfortably kept her card for 2012.

2010 Welsh Ladies' Close Champion at Glamorganshire Golf Club, South Wales. 2009 Welsh Ladies' Close Champion at Aberdovey Golf Club. No.1 on the 2010 PING Ladies’ Order of merit.

PERSONAL

Started golf aged 11, introduced to it by dad, who didn’t play golf but was into sport. Started at the local driving range. Lives on Holyhead, Anglesey and plays at Holyhead Golf Club. Coached by Jeremy Bennett.
