In 2010, posted a season best tie for 5th at the Open de Espana Femenino.
Finished 88th on the Henderson Money List with season's earnings of EUR18,416.93 from 21 tournaments.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

In 2009, returned to the LET at the Deutsche Bank Ladies Swiss Open after solving a sickness mystery which had blighted the previous two years. She played in 16 tournaments throughout the season and made 10 cuts with her best finish a tie for 19th at the HypoVereinsbank Ladies German Open presented by Audi. She was 81st on the Henderson Money List with earnings of �19,148.70 which was enough to keep her full card.
In 2006, earned her maiden LET victory at the Tenerife Ladies Open at Abama Golf.

PERSONAL

160cm with blonde hair and green/brown eyes. Lists interior decorating and downhill skiing amongst her hobbies. Riikka was forced to retire from competitive golf in October 2007 after experiencing dizziness on and off the golf course, which gradually worsened. She began to experience balance problems at the Evian Masters and the first diagnosis was a mild version of BPPV, which affects the inner ear. She saw 20 different doctors before meeting UK physiotherapist Jon Bowskill by chance at a biomechanics seminar in Sweden. With the help of his team in London, she discovered that the cause of her illness was an incorrect bite, along with a number of food intolerances. To ensure that her lower and upper jaw remain properly aligned, she now wears a bite guard most of the time and has cut out gluten, milk, soya, eggs and nuts from her diet
