  • In 2010, Belen made her professional debut at the US Women’s Open but missed the cut. She wanted to run pro earlier but had shoulder surgery in 2009. She received an invitation to play at the 2010 AIB Ladies Irish Open and missed the cut, then tied for 16th at the 2010 Sanya Ladies Open in China before earning a card on the LET and LPGA at Qualifying School for 2011.

Belen was a four-time All-American at USC in Los Angeles, California and the 2008 NCAA National Champion.  Belen was the 2006 British Girls’ Amateur Champion at Portstewart and British Ladies Open Amateur Champion at Royal County Down, making her the first woman to win both titles in the same year since 1972. The win at Royal County gave her an exemption into the Ladies British Open and into the U.S. Women's Open Amateur Championship. She also won the International European Ladies Amateur Championships and competed on behalf of her native Spain at the 2006 World Amateur Team Championships. She has competed for Spain at numerous team events, including winning efforts at the 2005 European Ladies Team Championship hosted in Karlstad, Sweden, the 2005 PING Junior Solheim Cup Team hosted in Carmel, Ind., and the 2003 European Girls Team Championships. She also finished first at the 2005 Junior International Championship of Spain. In 2004, Mozo represented Europe in the Junior Ryder Cup, won the AJGA Thunderbird Invitational against some of the world's top juniors, won the Doral-Publix Junior Classic and played at both the European Young Masters and the European Under 16 Team Championships for the second consecutive time.

Belen was introduced to golf by her parents at the age of eight. She enjoys going to the beach and playing tennis and says that she is pretty laid back. She majored in international relations at USC and lives in Los Angeles, California as well as Cadiz, Spain.
