The club made her an honorary life member in 2004. In 2003 she became the youngest amateur to receive full South African colours when she played No.1 for her country in the Commonwealth tournament aged 14. In 2004 she was the youngest player to win the WPGA Ladies South African Open on the Women’s Professional Tour and was the only amateur to have won it. She won at least one WPGA Tour event each year. She won the Jack Newton Junior International Classic in Australia in 2004. In the same year she represented SA at the World Amateur Golf Championships in Puerto Rico, at 15 years of age.
