PROFESSIONAL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Won her first two events of a seven-year career in 2002, the Irish Open and Italian Open. Qualified for the 2002 Solheim Cup in bizarre circumstances and earned a point for Europe, beating Kelli Keuhne in the singles. Played in her second Solheim Cup, winning one and a half points contributing to Europe’s victory. Posted eight top tens on LET in 2003. Qualified for LPGA Tour at first attempt, winning the Tour school, tied with two others. Won three events in 2005, the Spanish Open, Italian Open and Nykredit Masters in Denmark. Played in third Solheim Cup at Crooked Stick GC, Carmel, Indiana and won half a point. Won the European Money List in 2005 with €204,672.62 in prize money. Represented Europe for the fourth time at The 2007 Solheim Cup at Halmstad, Sweden. Posted seven top tens in 2007 with a season low of joint 2nd at the Dubai Ladies Masters. Runner-up at the 2009 Finnair Masters. In 2010, Iben enjoyed a fairytale ending to her career when she won the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters, her sixth LET win, at her farewell event on the Ladies European Tour having previously announced it would be her last event. She earned a two stroke victory over Sweden’s Anna Nordqvist. She cited a hip injury and wanting to spend more time with her family as the reason for her early departure. She posted seven additional top-10 finishes from 12 events over the season and ended the year ranked 5^th on the Henderson Money List with season’s earnings of €163,562.50. In 2011, she played in the Evian Masters presented by Société Générale and finished in 66^th place.

Tinning's amateur career was highlighted by a win at the 1992 Danish National Championship.

Started playing golf at the age of 4...Credits her parents as the individuals most influencing her career...Her coaches are Gregor Jamieson (Lake Nona, Fla.) and James Petts... Cousin of former European Touring professional Steen Tinning. Hobbies include watching movies, her dog, seeing friends and watching ice hockey. Attended business school. Son, Mads, born 7th March, 2006.
