PROFESSIONAL

• In 2012, Linda played in 22 events, 17 cuts made including 2 top 10 finishes: T4th at the UNIQA Ladies Golf Open in Austria and T7th at the World Ladies Championship in China. Season’s earnings: €65,368.61 (43).
• In 2011, Linda played in 20 events on the LET and had seven top 10 finishes including a tie for 3^rd place at the UNIQA Ladies Golf Open in Austria and a 3^rd place at Raiffeisenbank Prague Masters. She also tied for 4^th at the Hero Women’s Indian Open and tied for 5^th place at the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open. Linda ended the season ranked 14^th on the Money List, which was her third best-career season.
• In 2010, Linda played in 20 events on the LET. Her best finish of the season coming at the Unicredit Ladies German Open where she finished in a tie for 5^th place. Wessberg recorded a further 6 top tens to finish 23^rd on the Henderson Money List with season earnings of €84,089.88.
• In 2009, Linda earned her third LET title at the UNIQA Ladies Golf Open presented by Raiffeisen in Austria, defeating England’s Laura Davies at the second sudden death play-off hole at Golfclub Föhrenwald in Wiener Neustadt.
• In 2008, after working on some technical swing changes, Linda struggled to find her previous form in 2008. She played in eight LET events all year and her best finish was T19th at the Scandinavian TPC Hosted by Annika. She was 96th on the New Star Money List with season's earnings of €19,201.04. In America, she competed in 22 events with her best finishes T8th at both the LPGA Corning Classic and Kapalua LPGA Classic. She earned US$165,111 throughout the season to finish 75th on the US money list.
• In 2007, Linda played in 11 LET events in 2007 and earned EUR 158,960.38, finishing 8th on the New Star Money List. She secured her second LET victory at the Vediorbis Open de France Dames in Arras, northern France. With some impressive putting, she carded a final round 65 in heavy rain to finish a shot ahead of Trish Johnson. She posted two further top ten finishes: T2nd at the Ladies English Open and T7th at the Ricoh Women's British Open at St Andrews, where she played with eventual winner Lorena Ochoa in the last group in the final round. She also finished in the top 20 on three further occasions with the following results: T12 at the S4C Wales Ladies Championship, T13 at the ANZ Ladies Masters and T15 at the Dubai Ladies Masters. Her impressive performance caught the eye of European Solheim Cup skipper Helen Alfredsson, who selected her as one of three Captain's picks for The 2007 Solheim Cup at Halmstad, Sweden. Linda made an impressive debut and scored 1.5 points from two matches. She earned her first full point by defeating Cristie Kerr 1up in the singles. Wessberg also played in 13 LPGA tournaments with conditional status and recorded three top-tens, finishing the US season ranked 65th in earnings.
• In 2006, Linda secured her first Ladies European Tour title and a first prize of EUR 77,070 at the Wales Ladies Championship of Europe at Machynys Peninsula G&CC. She defeated Laura Davies by a shot, winning with a birdie at the 72nd hole. She entered the final round with a two shot lead and posted a 71 to win on 14-under-par 274 in her third year on Tour. She admitted that she had been aided by the hire of local caddy and club member, James Graham. Linda posted three further top tens and three top 20s throughout the season. Finished T3 in the BMW Ladies Italian Open, T6 in the SAS Masters and T10 in the ANZ Ladies Masters. She closed the year at 6th on the New Star Money List with EUR142,414.47.
• In 2005, Linda, who played in 18 events on the LET. Her best finish was 2nd at the Spanish Open, where she posted a low round 66 on day one. Posted T6 at both the ANZ Ladies Masters and the Ladies English Opens. Recorded five further top 20 finishes and finished the season 16th in the Money list and 11th on the Exemption Money List.
• In 2004, Linda made a fabulous start to her professional career finishing at 9th on the Order of Merit in her rookie season. Narrowly beaten to the Rookie of the Year title by Minea Blomqvist but Linda showed excellent consistency and talent in 2004. Finished second at the Ladies Open of Portugal, T3 at the French Open, T5 at the KLM Ladies Open. Linda has a swing and tempo not dissimilar to the World number one Annika Sorenstam.

PERSONAL

174cm tall with blonde hair and blue eyes. Interested in all sports, especially ice hockey and soccer. Also enjoys shopping and spending time with friends and family.
