Biography Parmlid, Mikaela (swe)


  • In 2013, Mikaela played in 16 LET events and had her most successful season, with three top five finishes including a career best of 2nd at the Open de Espana at Club de Campo in Madrid. She shot 66 twice – in the second round of the Lalla Meryem Cup and in the third round of the Open de Espana.
  • In 2012, played in 12 tournaments and made 10 cuts, posting 4 top 10s including a career best T2nd at the UNIQA Ladies Golf Open in Austria. Season’s earnings: €77,842.48 (31).
  • In 2011, played in five LET events but did not make a cut. Finished in the top 30 from Qualifying School earning a full card for 2012.
  • In 2010, tied for 10th at the CVS/pharmacy LPGA Challenge.
  • In 2009, recorded a career-best tie for eighth at the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic Presented by Kroger, where she also carded a career-low 62 (-9) in the third round; tied for ninth at the LPGA Corning Classic.
  • In 2008, best finish was a tie for ninth at the Longs Drugs Challenge.
  • In 2007, best finish was a tie for 13th at the SemGroup Championship Presented by John Q. Hammons.

  • In 2003, tied for 22nd at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament but lost in a three-hole, eight-way playoff for the final exempt card and earned non-exempt status for the 2004 LPGA season; turned professional in August.


Parmlid was the 2003 NCAA individual champion while at University of Southern California and was a member of the 2003 NCAAChampionship Team. She won five collegiate tournaments. Parmlid was the 2003 Honda Award Winner and a nine-time member of the Swedish National Team. She was also the top amateur at the Compaq Open in Sweden, an event on the Evian Ladies European Tour, for four consecutive years (1999-2002).
