Biography Westrup, Caroline (swe)


  • In 2012, her second season on the LET, Caroline played in 11 tournaments and made 9 cuts, recording a season-best T29th at the Tenerife Open de Espana. Finished 96th on the Order of Merit with earnings of €19,229.11.
  • In 2011, her first season on the LET, Caroline played in 10 events and recorded her career best finish of tied for 7th place at the UniCredit Ladies German Open and her first top 10 on the LET by date. She combined the LET with a few events, a total of six, at the Futures Tour.
  • In 2010, Caroline competed in 16 events on the US Duramed Futures Tour and finished 50th on the ranking with a season best tie for eighth at the City of Hammond Classic.


Caroline was the 2006 World Amateur Champion. She enjoyed a stellar collegiate career and was the greatest golfer in Florida State University school history who helped lead Florida State to the NCAA Tournament in each of her four seasons as a Seminole...the first four-time All-American and the first four-time All-ACC selection in school history...a four-time All-American - First-Team in 2006 and 2007, Second-Team in 2008 and Honourable Mention in 2009 - giving her the honour of being the first and only four-time All-American in school history.

Westrup won five tournaments while at FSU, was an All-America selection four straight years (twice on the first team), and also earned academic all-conference honours four straight years. Along the way, Caroline also played for the Swedish national team, winning individual medallist honours at the 2006 World Amateur Championships.


Caroline is the daughter of Carl Henrik and Helene Westrup. She started to play golf at eight years old and has a younger sister called Emelie who also plays golf on the on the Arkansas-Little Rock team. Her home town is Åhus and she graduated from the Swedish National Golf Gymnasium in 2005. Other than golf, Caroline also enjoys gymnastics, swimming and tennis and all kinds of sports as well as shopping, cooking and spending time with friends and family. Her favourite food is Raclette & sushi, favourite movie is Mamma Mia and favourite music is Hip Hop & R&B. She majored in sport management at Florida State University and minored in communications.
