Biography Wright, Lindsey (AUS)

Amateur
Wright finished second at the 2001 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championship while at PepperdineUniversity. She was a semifinalist at the 2002 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship, finished second at the 2002 World Cup in Malaysia and was a finalist at the 2002 British Amateur Championship. She played in the 2003 Kraft Nabisco Championship as an amateur and tied for 57th.

  • In 2010, best finish was a tie for fifth at the Navistar LPGA Classic Presented by Monaco RV.
  • In 2009, recorded a career-best runner-up finish at the McDonald's LPGA Championship Presented by Coca-Cola; carded a career-low 64 in the third round of the Michelob ULTRA Open at Kingsmill, where she tied for third; also finished fourth at the Kraft Nabisco Championship and tied for third at the Michelob ULTRA Open at Kingsmill.

  • In 2004, competed on the Futures Tour, where she won the Bank of Ann Arbor FUTURES Golf Classic and finished second on the money list to earn exempt status for the 2005 LPGA season.
