Biography Hull, Charley (ENG)


Charley´s rookie season was one of the most impressive in LET history, after Carlota Ciganda and Laura Davies who both won the Order of Merit in their first years on tour. In 2013, her rookie season on the LET, Charley won the Rolex Rookie of the Year title and was the youngest Solheim Cup player in history, aged 17. As a Cup rookie, she helped to win the event for first time on US soil. She played in 15 tournaments on the LET and posted 10 top-10 finishes, including five consecutive second places. This included the Unicredit Ladies German Open, where she had to face Carlota Ciganda in a play-off through lashing rain. Although the results stood, this was later declared a non-official prize money event due to the curtailment of the event due to severe weather conditions. Charley ended the season ranked 6th on the ISPS Handa Order of Merit and 103th on the World Rolex Rankings after a total of 21 events played in her first year. At The Solheim Cup, the teenage sensation won two of her three matches including the second singles match against Paula Creamer, where she won by 5&4.


Between the age of 13 and 16 won the following tournaments:- The Leveret, Hampshire Rose, Woburn GC Ladies Club Championship (gaining course record of 8 under in one round), ID Jones / Doherty Championship Florida, Welsh Open Stroke play, English Stroke play, Harder Hall Invitational Florida,

Made cut in following pro tournaments: 2012 Kraft Nabisco Championship, Turkish Airlines Ladies Open, Irish Ladies Open, ISPS Handa Ladies British Masters. Member of the victorious 2012 GB&I Curtis Cup Team. Winner of BBC Eastern Region Young Sports Personality of the year. Career highlights include playing in Kraft Nabisco, reaching No 3 in the world amateur rankings in 2012 and being a member of winning Curtis Cup team 2012. Position at Lalla Aicha Tour School for 2013: T36th.


Born in Kettering, England… started to play golf at Kettering Golf Club in 2001 aged five. First coach at Kettering GC was Kevin Theobald. Height: 5ft 6in tall with blonde hair and blue eyes.
