
The PING Junior Solheim Cup is a biennial trans-Atlantic team match play competition featuring the top level of female junior golfers from Europe and the United States, and was founded in 2002 by Karsten Manufacturing Corporation (KMC) – makers of PING equipment. In September 10-11, 2007 the event will take place at Båstad GK, Sweden. The event is a two-day competition featuring three sets of matches. On the first day the four-ball and foursome matches will take place, leaving the 12 singles matches for the final day. The purpose is to make the format of the matches similar to The Solheim Cup. |
